Norman Cliff's collection - 1945

An aerial view of part of the camp, showing the single room family accomodations.
The photographer was either on the very top of Block-23 or probably at the highest point east of the building and looking in a SE direction.
The block of rooms in the foreground are most probably blocks-37 and 38 ...
Notice the Japanese watchtower (left, beyond the boundary limits) with Jap-guard & Arisaka rifle, machine gun and searchlight ...
In the fields beyond the houses are gravemounds. It was the Weihsien graveyard beyond the brick-walls of the camp.
